It sounded like her mouth was always wet or that she was chewing gum. But to a woman scorned, the breakdown of the faux marriage was simply gravy. Jun 07, Nicole rated it it was amazing. There was a real story and a connection with the characters. The characters weren’t fleshed out enough and there was a huge problem with the way passage of time was handled. Yet, it wasn’t believable fiction.

Want to have their cake and eat it also without regard for others. The biggest problem I had was the poor quality of the writing. He was also a kind, and giving person, who was protective of those he loved.
The other elements of the story were great, both Tyson and Lynay had dated outside their respective races and being an interracial couple was not an issue for them. She messed with his family. Knowles books and this one was by far the worse in narration.
Hard work is rewarded and appreciated. Her baby needed more help than she could provide. The narrator was good, but I could hear a male talking in the background at one point.

I more than likely would listen to this author’s work again. From their “compatibility” meeting they were instantly attracted to one another, and their sexual tension just escalated from there. Allison, Tyson’s ex-wife refused to accept not only their divorce of three years, but Tyson’s re-marriage as well.

While the story wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good either. While it’s realistic that Tyson is away for a year or something like that, it doesn’t make for a very good romance and growth between the lead characters.

One suggestion I do have before I say anything about the book itself is about the book description. Cute romance Erosz slow in the beginning, picked up at the end.
